How can I prepare for air conditioning installation?

You’ve chosen a brand-new air conditioning system and you are ready to prepare for installation. So, what will you experience at the installation appointment?

Foremost, there are a couple things you can do ahead of time to help the installation process go smoothly. Make sure the area where the air conditioning system will be installed is clear. This includes an open path so the installers don’t experience obstacles when carrying the equipment to the final spot. This includes clearing the area of any tools, toys, sticks and leaves.

If you have pets, make sure they are in a kennel, crate or put in a separate area to be sure it’s a safe environment for the technician and your pet.

One benefit of partnering with Three Rivers Heating and Cooling on your air conditioning installation is that our technicians will take the time to walk you through your new system. You can ask as many questions as you want during the installation. We realize how great of an investment this is and how critical the air conditioner is to your home comfort. Once the system is installed, the technician will conduct testing to make sure it’s working correctly. We’ll highlight all the features of your new system and include recommendations on how to achieve the optimum efficiency.

While the technician will highlight the features, we suggest that you take the time to read the owner’s manual to become more familiar with your heating and cooling system. And place your manual in a safe place for future reference.

We’re here to help you, whether you have questions about your air conditioner after installation is complete or you simply need to book routine maintenance to make sure it continues to run efficiently–you can count on us.
